For a series of 5 Sundays we’ll be taking some time to present a really positive ‘Prayer Action Plan’ that we generated as a Leadership Team with some facilitators from the UK based ‘Freedom in Christ’ ministry. The prayer plan will develop week by week resulting in a really helpful 40 day prayer focus for us to utilise as a Church family to strengthen our identity & mission as a local Church…

‘Messy Church’ Sunday! On Sunday 30th October we held our first ‘Messy Church’ event at the LivingWell Centre. The morning included an excellent continental breakfast followed by a variety of optional activities designed to help people explore the theme of growing in ‘Faith, hope & love’ from 1 Corinthians 13:13. Activities included a picture quiz, acrylic painting on canvas, creating icing decorated masterpieces with mini ginger bread people & plenty of time to talk! Have a look at the photo’s below to get a feel for what went on – this time to connect, create & communicate was a BIG hit across the age spectrum and something we’ll be looking to do again sometime soon!

The Messy Church event on Sunday 1st January was a great time for all the family! A relaxed time with a bring & share tea, a variety of board games, space for catch up & chat plus a focal point at 5.30pm helped us look at the year ahead by asking the question; ‘What’s your resolve about 2012?’ A helpful covenant prayer was provided as a focus for prayer, reflection and action throughout the year ahead. Click on the link below to find out more…

We’ll next be hosting a Messy Church event after Easter on Sunday 29th April.

We’re really excited about the purchase last summer of the former Church premises at 480 Chester Road which we’ll be using as a base for a number of our activities as a Church. The LivingWell Centre as it will become to be known will provide a multi-purpose church lounge & training room in which to house a wide variety of events and meetings. It is planned to develop office space and further meeting rooms to help us serve our community through the provision of training events and meetings aimed at helping people follow Jesus and enable them to do life well!

Kids & Youth Clubs
Run by a team from the Church in conjunction with Andi Markham from Kids UK we’re now pleased to be able to provide three new fun packed clubs!
